Lurdes Bergada has been part of the December Thieves story since the very beginning. First introduced in 2013, it was the first apparel brand we carried in our space. What began as an instinctive draw has grown into something far more personal.

Our buyer and owner, Lana, has developed a close relationship with the mother-and-son duo behind the brand, even visiting their home and studio just north of Barcelona, a connection that continues to shape how we experience their work.

From the outset, their “classic with a twist” sensibility stood out, pieces that feel familiar yet never predictable. There is an ease to each collection, grounded in a distinctly European approach to contemporary womenswear and menswear, with asymmetric shapes, oversized proportions, and a focus on wearability. Season after season, new arrivals slip naturally into the fold, pairing effortlessly with what came before and with everything else in the shop.
