Online Orders

We accept returns to the original payment method for online orders when placed in the mail within 7 days of delivery. Store credit or exchange is offered when shipped beyond the 7 days and for up to 14 days after delivery.

In Store Purchases

In store purchases can be returned for store credit or exchange only within 7 days of purchase.

Local Pickup

Local pickup orders must be picked up within 7 days of purchase for eligibility for exchange and will qualify for a full refund if returned within 48 hours. After the initial 48-hour window and up to 10 days from the original purchase date, items are eligible for store credit or exchange only. We reserved the right to reject any return or exchange if these conditions are not met.

Returns are accepted for unused items in original condition with tags and packaging intact. Sale items, custom orders, fragrances, bath & body, socks, tights, and seasonal items are considered final sale and not eligible for return.


General Info

While we hope your items are everything you hoped for, we understand that sometimes things don't work out. You can start the return process below by filling out our online form or emailing us at orders@decemberthieves.com, and we will get back to you within 24 hours with a return authorization and further instruction. Kindly note that customers are responsible for return shipping expenses. Shipping fees are non-refundable

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused and in their original condition with no signs of wear with tags attached and in the original packaging if applicable. Sale items, custom orders, fragrances, bath and body products, socks, tights, and seasonal items are considered final-sale and are not eligible for return.

If you suspect your package has gone missing, please email us or complete the form below within 3 days of the expected delivery date. All reports must be submitted in writing. After notification of a missing package, we require a 7-day review period to confirm the package is missing before issuing a refund. 

If your package arrives damaged, please notify us within 2 days of delivery via email with photos of the exterior of the box, packing materials and the damage to the item. We will follow up with further information within 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Eligible items purchased with the first time customer discount code can be returned or exchanged so long as they are in their original condition. Merchandise purchased with other promotional codes and additional sale markdowns are considered final sale unless noted otherwise in promotional details and may not be exchanged or returned for credit.

    We do not offer price adjustments on items purchased prior to a promotion.

  • If you receive an item that is damaged please contact us within 2 days of delivery at orders@decemberthieves.com with your order number and photos of the exterior of the box, packing materials and damage to the item. We will follow up within 24 hours with further information.

    Please do not throw out the box and original packaging that the item was shipped in, as it is required for damage claims with shipping providers. Unfortunately, claims cannot be handled outside of 3 days post delivery so please unpack your goodies right away.

    Our staff reserves the right to refuse a return if the item shows signs of wear or are missing necessary packaging elements.

  • Return and exchange windows are determined by the delivery or pick up date of your order. 

    If a delayed pick up or shipping request puts delivery outside of the return or exchange window, the order is no longer eligible for return or exchange. Please feel free to add a note at the time of purchase if you anticipate a delay in retrieving your items and we will do our best to accommodate.
