Begin the return process by filling out the form below and we will get back to you within 24 hours with a return authorization and further instruction. Kindly note that we do not provide return labels at this time.


To be eligible for a return, items must be unused and in their original condition with no signs of wear and in the original packaging if applicable.


We are happy to accept returns for online orders when placed in the mail within 7 days of delivery. Store credit or exchange is offered when shipped beyond the 7 days and for up to 14 days after delivery.


Local pickup orders must be returned within 48 hours of pick up to qualify for a refund. We encourage you to try on garments and accessories at the time of pick up so we can assist in the moment with exchanges or returns! Beyond 48 hours and for up to 14 days from the original purchase date, items are eligible for store credit or exchange.


In store purchases can be returned for store credit or exchange only within 14 days of purchase.

Can I still return an item if I used a discount code?

Eligible items purchased with the first time customer discount code can be returned or exchanged so long as they are in their original condition. Merchandise purchased with other promotional codes and additional sale markdowns are considered final sale unless noted otherwise in promotional details and may not be exchanged or returned for credit. 


We do not offer price adjustments on items purchased prior to a promotion. 

An item arrived damaged in my order. What are the next steps?

If you receive an item that is damaged please contact us within 2 days of delivery at orders@decemberthieves.com with your order number and photos of the damage. We will provide you with further information (and mourn with you!) 


Please do not throw out the box and original packaging that the item was shipped in, as it is required for damage claims with shipping providers. Unfortunately claims cannot be handled outside of 3 days post delivery so please unpack your goodies right away.

What items are considered Final Sale?

Personal and home fragrance, bath and body products, socks, tights, and seasonal items considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Special orders and items worn out of our stores are also considered final sale.


Our staff reserves the right to refuse a return if the item shows signs of wear or are missing necessary packaging elements.

What if I receive my order beyond 7 days from when it was delivered?

Return and exchange windows are determined by the delivery or pick up date of your order. 


If a delayed pick up or shipping request puts delivery outside of the return or exchange window, the order is no longer eligible for return or exchange. Please feel free to add a note at the time of purchase if you anticipate a delay in retrieving your items and we will do our best to accommodate.
