Omnom is a bean-to-bar chocolate manufacturer based in Reykjavík, Iceland, founded in 2013 by Kjartan Gíslason and Óskar Þórðarson. Omnom began as an experiment, a challenge, with a desire to understand chocolate and how it was made from the ground up. As a chef, Kjartan was already familiar with single-origin chocolate. He started experimenting with flavors and textures. He received positive feedback from an early age and so he teamed up with his childhood friend Óskar and in a short time they set up a small production facility in a converted gas station in Reykjavík. Together they bring the best cocoa beans from all over the world to Iceland and process them into wonderful chocolates using many regional ingredients.
