We invite you to discover a space that awakens all your senses; a space that inspires you to explore, imagine and transform your own perceptions of style and design.  A curious and cultivated aesthetic, a sense of mystery intertwined in a myriad of stories.

Enter December Thieves (est 2013), a women-owned and operated small business with two distinct and adjacent storefronts nestled among the brick-clad facades of historic Charles Street in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston. The name comes from a poem by Rumi, the 13th century mystic, which speaks to the discovery and evolution which serves as the blueprint and foundation of our small business.

The mission is to bring fashion-forward, small batch producers, artists and designers from unsuspected corners of the world, to you. Founder, Lana Barakat, thoughtfully curates leading-edge apparel, accessories, and home goods from emerging designers and artists with an inimitable attention to quality, design, and style.

Our Team of Thieves are proud to have created a most inviting and nurturing shopping experience, both in-person and online. Whether you're looking for a meticulously draped garment, a statement earring, a leather bag stitched to perfection, or handblown recycled glass goblets, you’ll find it here.

"Anemones blush because they have seen the rose naked. Spring, the only fair judge, walks in the courtroom, and several December thieves steal away." - Rumi
