Arae

A love of clothing construction and manipulating textiles led artist, Rachael Levine, to found her art-to-wear collection, ARAE. With a focus on Shibori and fabric dying, Rachael hand dyes, cuts, and sews all pieces with the help of her small, in-studio team. Her boiled wool, and silk, pieces are dried in the year-round hot sun of the Colorado desert. ARAE is a zero-waste collection, meaning all excess fabric cuttings are used as material for scrunchies, headbands, or pillow stuffing.
